Slight seconds can include some (but not all) of the following: tiny irregular marks in the print, blurry 'ghost' marks - typically black over a yellow or orange dot, slight warping on the edges, or cork edges not finished correctly. Most are not particularly noticable - and some you will have trouble to spot - it's just that I can't sell them at full price. So, your chance to grab a bargain!
With a lot of these placemats, you'll be hard pushed to notice what the 'second' is.
