About Me
Hello
My name is Alison Greyer and I've taken my love of clean lines, graphic shapes and bold colours and created a range of placemats, coasters, teatowels and cushions to bring a huge burst of pattern to your home!

My homewares are an easy way to bring retro pattern and a palette of bright, fresh colour into your home, while still retaining a contemporary and modern feel. I love all things vintage, especially the chairs and furniture of the mid-century modern era and this period in time is a big inspiration in my work.
Creatively, I have a deep love of both printmaking and collage. I can spend hours cutting up paper and playing with the possibilities that come with seeing how shapes and colours work together.
My practice as a printmaker is informed by my love of surface pattern design - prints may be cut up, reworked or collaged back together as I get immersed in exploring texture, layout and balance. I teach printmaking classes in my local area, please see the Events and Workshops page of my site for more details.
A few of my designs are now also available as fabric by the metre, for you to get creative with your own projects!
