This is my A3 linocut print, entitled 'Infinite' and handprinted by me in my home studio. This is a large print, the paper measures 38.5 x 53 cms with the printed area being A3. This fits very well into a frame sized 50 x 60cms.
This print was selected to be exhibited at the inaugural Manchester Open 2020 and was on show in Home Gallery from January - March 2020 (the end of this exhibition was cut short due to Covid-19). It was then selected for exhibition at Technically Brilliant Gallery in Warrington, here in the UK.
'Infinite' (and its sister print 'Eternal') is a very personal piece of work and is part of a series exploring the experience of connecting to our internal worlds and consciousness through practices such as meditation or prayer. I am interested in depicting the vibrational energy of meeting our spiritual, higher selves in a modernist, futurist way.
This is a limited edition of 30 prints and is signed and numbered on the front. It has been printed on Zerkall paper using Hawthorne oil based printmaking inks in this navy blue.
PLEASE NOTE!! I will not be creating further prints until January 2021. If you order before this time, it means that you have reserved one of the Limited Edition, and it will be posted out to you in early February (it can take a few weeks for the oil based inks to thoroughly dry).
It will be send in acid free tissue paper, in a sturdy cardboard tube. It is sold unmounted and unframed.
Do ask me if you have questions relating to this work.
